Sustainability

We take responsibility to find sustainable solutions

The highest quality with the smallest possible footprint

You can count on us

Saving energy, water and chemicals is a priority. We monitor and purify the water and air we use before it leaves the factories and process our waste responsibly, observing local regulations and standards.

SPGPrints not only invests in technology but also in our people. With good working conditions and armed with the right expertise, they contribute to our future and that of our customers.

Reduce the footprint of manufacturing

We are active in many different ways to reduce the environmental footprint of textile manufacturing. Some of our initiatives - NovaScreens, direct laser engraving - are unique, others are not. But when you add it all up, the conclusion is that SPGPrints is the logical choice as your partner for more sustainable printing.

  • REACH

In the past decade, the EU REACH regulation has become the most important, most challenging and most demanding piece of chemicals legislation in Europe. It is the goal of SPGPrints to be fully compliant with REACH, as well as with all other applicable local, regional, national and international laws. Proper supply chain communication is key within REACH, and therefore SPGPrints has recently automated the supply of safety data sheets to customers. The other way around, we are pro-actively asking our raw material suppliers for REACH-compliant safety data sheets, so the most up-to-date hazard information and classifications of chemicals are included in our own safety data sheets. In addition, it needs to be assured that our suppliers have registered or intend to register the raw materials we buy from them, in order to safeguard raw material supply and consequently the supply of our end products as well.

  • Textile standards

Within the textile field, many non-regulatory standards exist, like Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and numerous standards from brands and retailers, like H&M, Inditex or C&A, developing their own Restricted Substances Lists (RSLs). We fully understand that our customers, using our printing equipment and printing inks, want to be compliant with these standards.

Therefore we have compiled a general compliancy letter for our digital textile inks, and seeking for compliance with EcoPassport (from Oeko-Tex) and GOTS.
