The t-shirt or dress that you are wearing today, the labels on the shampoo bottle and wine bottle, the diapers that you use for your children: there is a good chance that they are printed with the printing systems and equipment from SPGPrints. SPGPrints produces advanced printing systems and consumables for the textile, industrial and label market. The SPGPrints Group consist of 10 operating companies worldwide, 5 of which are production locations and 5 are sales offices. In this position you will be part of the Global Sales & Marketing team and you report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.

As Product Portfolio Manager you are responsible for the development and management of our product portfolio and the associated strategy in close collaboration with our Business Managers. In this role, you follow market developments continuously and you conduct competitive analyses which you translate in roadmaps and business models. You analyze and evaluate all products in terms of how they perform relative to each other and as a whole. You search for potential gaps in the portfolio and opportunities to enter new markets in order to increase revenue.

Your tasks and responsibilities consist of:

  • Take a broad strategic view of the entire product portfolio;
  • Structure and professionalize our product portfolio process;
  • Perform competitive & market analyses in order to develop a product road map;
  • Translate customer needs in product requirements;
  • Analyze the performance of the product portfolio to identify trends, opportunities, priorities and to suggest adjustments in the strategic plans if necessary;
  • Make a product portfolio plan that includes a strategy, analyses, business models, product-market combinations and a implementation plan.


  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar
  • You have 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong communicator who is able to interact with different people in the company in terms of background, culture and seniority level
  • You are creative, show initiative and have strong interpersonal and persuasive skills
  • You are analytical and able to take a broad high-level view
  • Strong personality who can set up clear structures, processes and who stimulates global teamwork without having hierarchical responsibilities
  • Willing to travel internationally, approximately up to 20%
