International Sales Manager – Non-woven Industries
As an International Sales Manager your main goal is sales of the high-quality screens of SPGPrints to a specific group of machine manufacturers. Their customers are non-woven producing companies. The SPGPrints screens are used in their production lines to produce non-woven out of single fibres. Another application is to produce special designs visible on the non-woven material. In our daily life you will recognize this in products like for example wet wipes, tissues, surgery clothing, diapers etc.
In this role you work closely with the Research & Development department of SPGPrints. On a regular basis you discuss with them which international markets show growth potential and which technical applications of SPGPrints can be used to serve and/or expand the existing group of machine manufacturers.
In this role as an International Sales Manager, it is important to build and maintain long-term customer relationships with the existing and newly acquired machine manufacturers. You act in highly demanding but very interesting niche markets. Most of the machine manufacturers are in Germany and France. Besides these areas, customers can be found in the USA, UK and China. You report to the Commercial Manager Label Printing & Industrial Applications. Your tasks and responsibilities consist of:
Building relationships with (potential) customers worldwide within special applications product portfolio;
Achieving the goals in accordance with the sales plan in terms of turnover, margin and growth;
Introducing, promoting, and selling the products from special applications product portfolio;
Visiting and maintaining contact with (potential) customers on a frequent basis;
Making offers, considering the wishes and needs of customers, the sales tactics and delivery and payment conditions;
Alignment with the Research & Development department on a regular basis;
Advising customers with technical knowledge;
Following relevant market development and anticipate on them;
Translating technical problems into commercial solutions
Visiting trade shows and manage agents and distributors worldwide.
Able to translate the wishes and needs of our customers into commercial opportunities because of your technical insight;
Affinity with manufacturing and highly specialized applications;
Technical or commercial bachelor degree;
At least 5 years of sales experience in an international environment;
Knowledge of sales, marketing, and negotiation techniques;
Proactive attitude and taking initiatives;
Strong communicator who can interact with different people in the company in terms of languages, background, culture, and seniority level;
Willing to travel internationally, approximately up to 50%.
